US Senate candidates George F. Allen and James H. 'Jim' Webb, Jr. will participate in a live debate. The event is produced by: WTVR, RICHMOND and PBS WCVE-WHTJ, RICHMOND. Questions panel members are:

    * CBS representative - Rick Young
    * PBS representative - May-Lily Lee
    * League of Women Voters of Virginia - Lulu Meese, President
    * Moderator: Russ Mitchell, CBS Sunday Night Anchor from New York

The basic format of the debate will be:

    * 2 minute opening by the candidates
    * Questions posed by the moderator
    * Questions posed byt panel members questions
    * 2 Minute closing by the candidates
